Economical education can be viewed as a relatively new activity offinancial sector in Poland and globally. Author focuses his analysis on its functioningin Polish educational system and concludes that it currently resolves to bankingeducation - both because of banks’ engagement in its organization as well as its biastowards individualism and consumerism. The final part of the article is devoted toalternative in a form of critical economical education, which would be aimed atcritical description of economic processes and construction of individual and collectivestrategies of acting within the realm of economic activities and with a purposeof changing the latter.

Względnie nowym przedmiotem działania sektora finansowego w Polsce i na świecie jest edukacja ekonomiczna. Autor analizuje jej funkcjonowanie w ramach polskiego systemu oświaty i stwierdza, że aktualnie sprowadza się ona do edukacji bankowej – zarówno ze względu na zaangażowanie banków w jej organizację, jak i ukierunkowanie na indywidualizm i konsumeryzm. Ostatnia część artykułu poświęcona jest alternatywie w postaci krytycznej edukacji ekonomicznej, której celem byłby krytyczny opis procesów gospodarczych oraz wypracowywanie indywidualnych i zbiorowych strategii działania w polu ekonomii i jego przekształcaniu.
