The article author presents her own project of teaching Polish as an inherited or second language to children aged 5 to 9. It is based on the constructivist theory of teaching, Ingarden’s theory of literary work cognition and Polish literary texts. The essential part of this project is education through various games that systematize the material presented during each lesson. The author highlights the importance of enactive text cognition, passing from an object recognized through various senses to its symbolic representation, from literality to metaphor. The literary text becomes yet another source of language experience for children.
The article analyzes the question of the boundaries of the educational situation and the counseling situation, referring to the humanistic pedagogy of Professor Kazimierz Sośnicki. The similarities and differences of the two situations are indicated. Attention was paid to such issues as: the initiation of upbringing and counseling situations and their psychological boundaries; the rules that apply in upbringing and counseling situations; the limitations arising from differences in the values of the counselor and the person being counseled; comments on verbal communication and the circumstances of crossing boundaries. In conclusion, it was emphasized that while it is difficult to objectively establish the boundaries of the educational and counseling situation, everyone is subjectively able to do so, experiencing them as a responsive “touch” (Rosa, 2020) or a meaningful encounter (Sośnicki, 1973) of a personality-forming and developmental nature. And it is he, experiencing them, who ultimately sets the boundaries of these situations.

W artykule analizie poddana została kwestia granic sytuacji wychowawczej i sytuacji poradniczej, nawiązująca do pedagogiki humanistycznej prof. Kazimierza Sośnickiego. Wskazane zostały podobieństwa i różnice obu sytuacji. I to on, doświadczając tego, ostatecznie wyznacza granice tych sytuacji.

Education is financed mostly by the national budget funds transferred to the local government units in the form of subsidies and grants. About 62% of those educational subsidies are received by communes. Schools compensate for the deficiency of budget funds with their own resources and with the resources from UE, from various foundations or private sources. The amount of the educational subsidy is determined according to an algorithm adopted for a given year and is divided between local government units on the basis of the number of schoolchildren. While calculating the subsidy, the teachers’ professional advancement degree, the number of disabled schoolchildren, type of school and other factors are taken into consideration. The resources for pre-school education and for different purposes, like school supplies, are provided for in the national budget. The extent to which local government units consume the educational component of the general subsidy is varied. Local governments finance educational activities from their own resources, by assigning them to bodies responsible for economic and administrative support of schools. The financing of educational tasks using EU funds has constituted significant support for the quality of education and development of competences.
