Przedmiotem rozważań autora jest koncepcja nauczania wychowującego Johanna F. Herbarta jako swoista rama dla dialogu, tak w praktyce edukacyjnej, jak i w myśleniu ogólnopedagogicznym. Artykuł składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej przy pomocy toposu ramy zostaną wyeksponowane dwa opozycyjne kierunki refleksji pedagogicznej – „do wnętrza” i „na zewnątrz”. Na tej podstawie w drugiej części zostanie ukazana przewodnia myśl Herbartowskiej koncepcji nauczania wychowującego. W trzeciej części autor szczegółowo przeanalizuje etapy i przedmiot dialogu edukacyjnego toczącego się w ramach nauczania i uczenia się szkolnego, zgodnie z koncepcją Herbarta.

The subject of the author’s deliberations is the concept of educative teaching of Johann F. Herbart as a kind of framework for dialogue, both in educational practice and thinking. The article consists of three parts. In the fi rst one are exposed with the help of the topos the frame two opposing directions of pedagogical refl ection – „inside” and „outside”. On this basis, the second part shows the main idea of Herbart’s concept of educative teaching. In the third part, the author analyzes in detail the phases and subject of the educational dialogue taking place within the framework of educative teaching, in accordance with Herbart’s concept.
