The paper is devoted to a holistic analysis of the scientific-organisational and scientific-didactic activity of the Head of the Institute of Russian and Ukrainian philology, Professor Andrzej Sitarski (2008–2019). In the paper, the author presents her reflections on the status of ego-texts along with their categories. The authorʹs attention is primarily focused on the evaluation of Professor Sitarski’s role in the upbringing of talented linguists, as well as on his personal contribution to the development of Poznań Ukrainian studies. The in-depth analysis is conducted on the basis of the category of memory that is depicted in ego-text genres, including the genre of memoirs-dedications. Professor Sitarski has an outstanding linguistic personality of a bilingual that boils down to particular verbal and nonverbal properties represented through his psychotype – his abilities of the elite linguistic character of a scientist and lecturer of Russian language are distinctive for him.

The article focuses on the peculiarities of the epistolary inheritance of Lesia Ukrainka. Her texts have been analyzed in which the linguistic creativity of the writer has been singled out. The peculiarities of her vision of the world, her feeling of the world, L. Ukrainka’s „language” biography, the specificity of the intertextuality, the ability of the word creativity, the features of the epistolary idiostyle, the signs of the epistolary behavior, the traits of character etc. have been analyzed. The process of writing the letters was represented in her creative work in which she eulogized the epistolary activity. The letter was considered by her as a phenomenon of a human being activity. The analysis illustrates the following: the epistolary inheritance of the poetess indicates her inclination to experiments; the analysis also represents Lesia Ukrainka’s views on environment, linguistic political problems, the aspects of translation studies and culturology.

Artykuł porusza kwestię swoistości spuścizny epistolarnej Łesi Ukrainki. Przeanalizowano jej ego-teksty, w których wyodrębniono charakterystyczne cechy kreatywności językowej poetki, specyfikę odczuwania świata itp. Takie ujęcie tematu pozwoliło prześledzić biografię „językową” poetki, jej intertekstualizm, kompetencje słowotwórcze, właściwości idiostylu epistolarnego czy wręcz cechy osobowościowe. Proces pisania listów pojawił się także w twórczości literackiej Łesi Ukrainki jako jeden z fenomenów aktywności człowieka. Szczegółowa analiza dowodzi, że właśnie na tym polu poetka przejawiała swą skłonność do eksperymentów, a także zaprezentowała swoje poglądy na temat zarówno otaczającego świata, jak i literatury i kultury.

Among the pressing problems of modern linguistics, there is the clarification of differential signs of ego-texts (diaries, letters, memoirs, etc.) and the study of the linguistic means of objectification of self in these texts. The purpose of this work was to find out how reflexivity, as one of the essential attributes of ego-texts, is manifested in private letters. The material of the study was a complied set of letters of the Russian intelligentsia of the 19th and 20th centuries. It was demonstrated that reflexivity is one of the main categories inherent in the texts of private letters, along with the dialogic nature to which it relates in line with the principle of complementarity along the line of “addresser – addressee” communication. The studied epistolary work conveys different types of reflection: personal, communicative, intellectual, cooperative, linguistic. Reflexivity is manifested in epistolary texts by such linguistic means as the use of personal and possessive pronouns in the first person, the use of reflexive pronouns, the inclusion in the text of statements that implement the ‘self-presentation’ speech genre; a widespread use of emotive vocabulary; reproduction of some properties of internal speech by means of syntactic stylistics.

К числу актуальных проблем современной лингвистики принадлежит выяснение дифференциальных признаков эго-текстов (дневников, писем, мемуаров и т. п.) и изучение языковых средств объективации в этих текстах своего «Я». Целью данной работы было выяснить, как проявляется в текстах частных писем рефлексивность – один из существенных признаков эго-текстов. Материалом исследования стали опубликованные в разных изданиях письма русской интеллигенции ХІХ–ХХ вв. Показано, что рефлексивность является одной из основных категорий, присущих текстам частных писем, наряду с диалогичностью, с которой она соотносится по принципу взаимодополнения на оси коммуникации «адресант – адресат». Исследованный эпистолярий фиксирует разные типы рефлексии: личностную, коммуникативную, интеллектуальную, кооперативную, языковую. Рефлексивность проявляется в эпистолярном тексте такими языковыми средствами, как использование личных и притяжательных местоимений первого лица, местоимений себя, свой; включение в текст письма высказываний, реализующих речевой жанр самопрезентация; широкое употребление эмотивной лексики; воспроизведение средствами синтаксической стилистики некоторых свойств внутренней речи.
