Dwie idee działań ekonomicznych: ekonomia komunii i ekonomia społeczna, starające się wypełnić lukę pomiędzy biznesem (ekonomia rynku) a państwem (dystrybucja dóbr), dążące do ograniczenia ubóstwa i wykluczenia społecznego, mają wiele cech wspólnych, a w niektórych aspektach istotnie się różnią. Artykuł umożliwia zrozumienie idei ekonomii komunii w odniesieniu do ekonomii społecznej i jej realizacji oraz wobec zadań biznesowych i społecznych, jakich podejmują się przedsiębiorcy ekonomii komunii. W artykule wykazano dużą zbieżność obydwu idei ekonomicznych oraz szanse na wzajemne uzupełnianie się i współdziałanie dla konkretnych celów społecznych.

Two ideas of economic activities, the economy of communion and the social economy, seeking to bridge the gap between business (market economy) and the State (distribution of goods), aiming to reduce poverty and social exclusion, have much in common, but in some aspects remain considerably different. This paper allows to understand the idea of the economy of communion in reference to the social economy, its implementation and in reference to social and business tasks which are undertaken by the entrepreneurs of economy of communion. A high similarity of both ideas and opportunities for economic complementarity and cooperation for specific social purposes are demonstrated in the paper.

Chiara Lubich poświęciła swoje życie Bogu i ludziom. W ciągu swojego życia prowadziła ona działalność na rzecz innych ludzi. Odbywała wiele podróży, spotkań, uczestniczyła w rozmaitych przedsięwzięciach. Była inicjatorką Ruchu Focolari uznanego przez Kościół katolicki. Członkami tego Ruchu są ludzie także innych religii i nie należący do żadnego kościoła. Chiara Lubich dostrzegała biedę i niedostatek ludzi. Była inicjatorką ekonomii komunii. Poprzez projekt ekonomii komunii chciała nieść pomoc ludziom. Ruch Focolari i ekonomia komunii występują w wielu krajach świata, w tym w Polsce. Proces beatyfikacyjny Chiary Lubich został rozpoczęty w dniu 27 stycznia 2015 r.

Chiara Lubich dedicated her life to God and to the people. During her life she led activity for other people. She held a lot of travels, meetings, participated in various projects. She was the initiator of that Focolare Movement recognized by the Catholic Church. The members of this Movement are also people of other religions and those who do not belong to any church. Chiara Lubich saw the poverty and scarcity of people. She was the initiator of the Economy of Communion. Through this project she wanted to give aid to people. The Focolare Movement and Economy of Communion are present in many countries in the world, including Poland. The process of beatification of Chiara Lubich was opened in January 2015.

This paper wants to demonstrate a scenario where it is evident that the medieval society, starting from the monasticism of St. Benedict (famous motto of «ora et labora») and continuing with the Franciscan School, conserves many elements and ideas of intellectual interest that have a reverberation still valid for today, especially concerning the relationship of man with the economy. The age of the Late Middle Ages in Europe laid the foundations of modern economic science, giving impulse to quite singular reflections gathered from the interpretation of reality, in a typically «Franciscan» key, grasping in the fraternity (franciscan fraternitas) the anthropological and ontological element for the good living in the communitas and for the integral sustainability, therefore, valid also for the economy. It resulted, in fact, the first economic and commercial lexicon that will spread throughout Europe, by the work of important disciples of St. Francis, who grasped a new «spirit» of making economy, completely original, countercurrent, contradicting the prevailing thesis of Max Weber. But Franciscan humanism still offers, even today, the anthropological, social, and cultural presuppositions for a shift of paradigm within the economic discourse, based on the person with all his inclinations and necessities, presuppositions that are already visible in the experience of the Economy of Communion in Freedom, born on May 29, 1991, among the misery of Brazil, to solve the social and economic problem of this time. This revolution of the late Middle Ages, social and market, which was also intellectual and aimed at facing the poverty and injustice of that time, is still repeated today with new faces, experiences, and theories.

Finance management of firms constitutes one of the areas of management of these eco-nomic entities and includes investment decisions and financial decisions. There are different types of firms finance management. One of these is the ethical finance management. Ethical finance management of firms includes ethical investment decisions (ethical investments) and ethical financial decisions (ethical financing).The study, after the presentation of ethics, morality, concentrates on the categories of the ethical financial decisions and ethical in-vestment decisions. The article ends concise conclusions.

The process of beatification of Chiara Lubich was opened in January 2015. Lubich saw the poverty and privation of people. During her life led activity for other people. Lubich was the initiator of Focolare Movement recognized by the Catholic Church. In addition, she was the initiator of the Economy of Communion which is based on a number of rules. Through the project Economy of Communion Lubich wanted to give aid people. Finance management of firms Economy of Communion is different from the ethical finance management of firms. However, there are similarities between them. In literature, finance management of firms Economy of Communion does not relate to ethical finance management of firms. There is a gap in this area. Hence the autor's pro-posal fill this gap.
