Lack of Work-Life Balance (WLB) is the result of changes in two major spheres of human life - in the area of family and work. This situation requires finding solutions to rectify the problems of reconciling work and private life. Flexible forms of work can become an important tool in building a WLB. However, these forms are not used in Poland on a large scale. One of the major obstacles in this regard is limited knowledge on this subject, both among workers and employers.

Brak Work-Life Balance (WLB) zachodzi na skutek przemian w dwóch najważniejszych sferach życia człowieka – w obszarze rodziny i pracy zawodowej. Sytuacja ta domaga się poszukiwania rozwiązań niwelujących zaburzenia na linii praca-życie pozazawodowe. Elastyczne formy pracy mogą stać się istotnym narzędziem w budowaniu WLB. Jednakże formy te nie są stosowane w Polsce na dużą skalę. Jedną z istotnych przeszkód w tym zakresie jest ograniczona wiedza na ten temat, zarówno w środowisku pracowników jak i pracodawców.
