Stan bezpieczeństwa Polski stanowi pochodną rangi, jaką zarówno w bliskiej, jak i odległej perspektywie, nadają obronności władze państwa. Po zmianie systemu politycznego, bezpieczeństwo kraju uległo radykalnej zmianie. Polska została członkiem NATO i Unii Europejskiej, co wpłynęło na zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa. Celem artykułu jest analiza eksportu uzbrojenia w latach 2013–2018 jako czynnik budowania bezpieczeństwa militarnego. Bezpieczeństwo militarne obejmuje różne działania w obszarze bezpieczeństwa narodowego, w szczególności w zakresie przeciwdziałania zagrożeniom militarnym. W artykule zastosowano następujące metody badawcze: analizę literatury oraz aktów prawnych, analizę danych statystycznych.

The state of security of Poland is a derivative of the rank that both the near and the distant perspective give defense to the state authorities. Poland’s security radically changed after adoption of the new political system. Poland became a member of the NATO and the European Union which enhanced its security. The purpose of the article was to analyze arms exports in 2013–2018 as a factor in building military security. Military security includes various activities in the area of national security, in particular in the field of counteracting military threats. The literature analysis, the legal acts and analysis of statistical data have been applied as methods of the research.

W artykule autor dokonał analizy potencjału ukraińskiego przemysłu zbrojeniowego odziedziczonego po Związku Radzieckim i ukazał jego przekształcenia w sytuacji niewielkich zamówień przez armię ukraińską. W odpowiedzi na tę sytuację podjęto reformy, których głównym przejawem była konsolidacja ukraińskiego przemysłu obronnego, zakończona powołaniem państwowego, pionowo zarządzanego, koncernu Ukroboronprom. Podjęto także energiczne działania na rzecz zwiększenia eksportu ukraińskiego uzbrojenia, które okazały się skuteczne i zapewniły Ukrainie czołowe miejsce w świecie wśród eksporterów sprzętu wojskowego. W opracowaniu przedstawiono również współpracę ukraińskiego przemysłu zbrojeniowego z przemysłami różnych państw po zerwaniu kooperacji z Rosją, w tym współpracę z polskim przemysłem lotniczym i obronnym.

In the article the author effected the analysis of the Ukrainian arms industry potential inherited from the Soviet Union and portrayed its transformations in the situation of little orders by the Ukrainian army. In response to this situation reforms were taken. Their main indication was a consolidation of the Ukrainian defence industry, finished with the vocation of national, vertically managed concern Ukroboronprom. Energetic activities were undertaken for increasing the export of the Ukrainian weapons, which appeared to be effective and provided Ukraine with the leading place in world amongst exporters of the military equipment. The study describes the cooperation of the Ukrainian arms industry with industries of different states after breaking cooperation with Russia, including cooperation with the Polish aircraft and defence industry.
