Przetwarzanie danych biometrycznych w usługach elektronicznych

W pracy dokonano przeglądu podstawowych zagadnień dotyczących usług zaufania publicz-nego w odniesieniu do transakcji elektronicznych na rynku wewnętrznym, projektowanych roz-wiązań w obszarze ochrony danych osobowych oraz omówiono zagadnienia związane z bezpiecz-nym korzystaniem z technologii biometrycznych. Zwrócono uwagę na zagrożenia teleinforma-tyczne, konieczność budowania świadomości społeczeństwa w zakresie bezpieczeństwa danych i ich znaczenia zarówno w pracy zawodowej, jak i w codziennym życiu. Omówiono status prawny technologii biometrycznych z uwzględnieniem aktualnych aktów prawnych. Omówiono pojęcie danych biometrycznych oraz zagadnienia dotyczące przetwarzania danych osobowych, w tym danych biometrycznych.

The paper reviews the basic issues concerning public trust services in relation to electronic transactions in the internal market, the proposed solutions in the area of personal data protection and issues related to the safe use of biometric technologies. Attention is paid to ICT threats, the need to build public awareness of the security of data and their significance in both professional work and everyday life. The legal status of biometric technologies has been discussed taking into account current legal acts. Discussed is the concept of biometric data and issues related to the processing of personal data, including biometric data.
