The article focuses on the analysis of human action. At the beginning the term of ‘action’ is defined and then the classification of actions presented. There were proposed three criteria of the classification: purpose, doer and motivation which allow us to describe the nature of changes triggered by action. After that the basic elements of action are considered. Analysis of action involves searching for relationships between them. The article assumes that the praxeological analysis of action should be done by examination of all these elements and relations.
