Tożsamość osobista w ujęciu emotywno-refleksyjnym: zawartość, funkcje i procesy kształtowania tożsamości

W artykule zaproponowano emotywno-refleksyjne ujęcie tożsamości osobistej. W ramach tego ujęcia podjęto próbę zdefiniowania tożsamości osobistej oraz określenia źródeł tworzących ją treści, procesów kształtowania i pełnionych przez nią funkcji. Tożsamość osobista ujmowana jest jako unikatowy, specyficzny dla jednostki i względnie stabilny sposób określania, rozumienia i doświadczania siebie, będący wyrazem dążenia do osiągnięcia osobistej autonomii i wewnętrznej integracji. Wśród głównych źródeł treści tożsamościowych wskazano na znaczenie przede wszystkim emotywnych doświadczeń siebie, satysfakcji motywów tożsamościowych i podstawowych potrzeb psychologicznych oraz osobistych aspiracji i pasji jednostki. Tożsamość rozpatrzono także w aspekcie jej zawartości, akcentując różnice między tożsamością a koncepcją siebie i złożonością Ja. Zasygnalizowano również kwestię stałości i zmienności tożsamości, w tym warunków, jakie mogą wyzwalać lub intensyfikować zmiany w jej obrębie.

In the article, personal identity is proposed in emotive-reflective terms. Within the framework of these terms an attempt to define personal identity is undertaken and sources of identity contents, processes of identity forming and identity functions are indicated. Identity is treated as a unique, specific for an individual and relatively stable manner of self-defining, self-understanding and self-experiencing, that displays striving for personal autonomy and inner integration. Among main sources of identity contents are emotive self-experiences, satisfaction of identity motives and basic psychological needs and also individual aspirations and passions. Furthermore, identity is considered in terms of its content, with regard to the difference between identity as such, self-concept and complexity of self-system. The question of stability and changeability of identity is also signalled, and conditions that can release or intensify identity changes are pointed.
