Celem artykułu jest wykazanie wpływu wybranych praktyk personalnych na generowanie wyników przedsiębiorstwa za sprawą budowania odpowiednich postaw pracowników. Zmiennymi objaśnianymi są w tym przypadku postawy pracowników, takie jak: zaangażowanie w pracę, przywiązanie organizacyjne i zaangażowanie w profesję. W literaturze przedmiotu wskazuje się, że zaangażowanie pracowników stanowi dźwignię behawioralną w uzyskiwaniu przez organizacje wysokiej wydajności, jakości i innowacyjności. Jednocześnie wciąż istnieje luka badawcza w zakresie identyfikacji uwarunkowań i czynników prowadzących do zwiększania zaangażowania i przywiązania organizacyjnego. Dotyczy to min znaczenia w tym procesie tzw. praktyk personalnych. Przeprowadzone w opracowaniu analizy na próbie 238 badanych wykazały wpływ poszczególnych praktyk na zaangażowanie pracowników, przy czym najbardziej istotne dla testowanych postaw okazały się możliwości rozwoju kariery a w dalszej kolejności dostęp do informacji o praktykach personalnych

The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the impact of selected human resource management practices on company results made through employee attitudes’ building. Dependent variables in this case are represented by job involvement, organizational commitment and professional commitment. The literature indicates that employee involvement and commitment create a behavioral lever for achieving high efficiency, quality and innovativeness by organizations. At the same time, there is a research gap regarding identification of factors supporting an increase of employee involvement as well as their organizational and professional commitment. This concerns, among others, the relevance of HR practices in the process. Our analyses, conducted on a sample of 238 respondents, show the impact of specific HR practices on dependent variables. Career development opportunities turned out to be the most significant in the process. Access to information about HRM practices in an organization appeared as the next important factor in this regard.

Motivation is an important tool which can have a signifi cant impact to improve the performance of employees in any organization and in the current competitive world, employees’ commitment is crucial in achieving the organizational goals. The current research is aimed at examining the role played by motivation in sustaining the commitment of sales professionals. Primary data has been collected among 100 sales professionals using the close-ended questionnaire. For the analysis purpose both descriptive and inferential analysis has been conducted. The fi ndings from the analysis show that most factors included in the model to measure the motivation show a signifi cant and positive impact. Similarly the coeffi cient for organizational support, psychological support and fi nancial support shows a positive and signifi cant impact. In examining the impact of increased motivation on employees’ commitment, the results were also statistically signifi cant and positive. On the basis of the fi ndings it can be concluded that the motivation has a signifi cant and positive impact on employees’ commitment so organizations should focus on motivating their employees; however, the method used for motivation can differ from one organization to another.
