Article presents the Polish and German approach to the issue of professional activation of the disabled. Both models, in many respects, especially from the normative, are similar. Poland took over many German solutions and have adapted them to national circumstances. The German support system is a coherent system, and is being implemented successfully. While the Polish system of support for people with disabilities characterized by low efficiency and employment effectiveness of this social group, as a result of many factors, mainly the obstruction system. Poland is currently at the stage of implementation of measures to change the model policy of support for people with limited efficiencies by implementing more personalized support mechanisms (eg. Job-coach, services assistants of people with disabilities), or instruments that encourage enterprise market and social to employ the disabled and supporting the development of entities social economy.

Artykuł prezentuje polskie i niemieckie podejście do problematyki aktywizacji zawodowej osób niepełnosprawnych. Oba modele w wielu aspektach, szczególnie od strony normatywnej, są do siebie podobne. Polska przejęła bowiem wiele niemieckich rozwiązań i adaptowała je do krajowych uwarunkowań. Przy czym niemiecki system wsparcia stanowi spójny system i jest realizowany z dużym powodzeniem. Natomiast polski system wsparcia osób z niepełnosprawnościami cechuje niska skuteczność i efektywność zatrudnieniowa tej grupy społecznej, co wynika z wielu czynników, głównie z niedrożności systemu. Obecnie Polska jest na etapie stosowania działań, które mają zmienić model polityki wsparcia osób z ograniczonymi sprawnościami przez wdrożenie bardziej spersonalizowanych mechanizmów wsparcia (np. trener pracy, usługi asystentów osób niepełnosprawnych) czy instrumentów zachęcających przedsiębiorstwa rynkowe i społeczne do zatrudniania niepełnosprawnych i wspierających rozwój podmiotów ekonomii społecznej.
