The article discusses selected threads of Monika Rogowska‑Stangret’s book Być ze świata. It outlines the theoretical context of relational ethics and characterizes symbiotic co-thinking, which is the expression of relational ethics. In the first part, the author of the article reconstructs the argumentation associated with introducing the categories of “naked death,” “trauma,” and “post-traumatic stress” into post-humanist thought. In the second part, the author proposes an alternative interpretation of the “ego death,” showing that it can complement the ethics of care postulated by Rogowska-Stangret.

Artykuł omawia wybrane wątki książki Moniki Rogowskiej‑Stangret Być ze świata: nakreśla teoretyczny kontekst etyki relacyjnej i charakteryzuje symbiotyczne współ‑myślenie, które jest jej wyrazem. W pierwszej części autorka artykułu rekonstruuje argumentację, z którą wiąże się wprowadzenie do myśli posthumanistycznej kategorii „nagiej śmierci” oraz „traumy” i „stresu pourazowego”. W drugiej części autorka proponuje alternatywną interpretację „śmierci ja”, pokazując, że może ona stanowić uzupełnienie postulowanej przez Rogowską‑Stangret etyki troski.

Der Ausgangspunkt für die Überlegungen ist die Feststellung von Timothy Morton, dass die ökologische Krise eine Krise des Denkens überhaupt ist. Indem ich einen Ausgang aus der Krise suche, schöpfe ich die Inspiration aus den Diskussionen, die im Rahmen des Posthumanismus geführt werden. Der Posthumanismus bricht nicht nur mit der zentralen Stellung des Menschen, sondern er bietet vor allem eine neue Denkweise über die Welt und die sie durchdringenden Beziehungen an. Die Forschungen von Donny Haraway und Anna Tsing werden unter dem Gesichtspunkt ihrer Nützlichkeit für die Schaffung von nicht-anthropozentrischen Denkweisen und Metaphern untersucht. Bei Haraway führt das Leben und Denken mit den Hunden zur Hervorbringung einer posthumanistischen Ethik. Tsing behauptet aufgrund seiner Forschungen über die vielfachen durch Pilze gebildeten Verbindungen, dass alle Beziehungen artübergreifende Beziehungen sind. Das von den Forscherinnen vorgeschlagene Denken behandelt den Menschen als ein Element eines größeren Ganzen, das zusammen mit anderen Arten gebildet wird. Es bietet folglich eine Möglichkeit an, eine ökologisch ausgewogenere Welt zu schaffen.

According to Timothy Morton, ecological crisis is associated with crisis of thinking. The article attempts to examine new modes of thinking that are inspired by posthumanism and relationships with non- human animals. Posthumanism criticizes human claims for being privileged epistemic and ethical subject and offers new possibilities of thinking about world and multispecies relationships. Research by Donna Haraway and Anna Tsing offer valuable metaphors and models for non-anthropocentric thinking. Haraway, inspired by her personal relationships with dogs, proposes post-humanist ethics of human- animal relationships. Tsing, researching frictions and global connections around matsutake mushrooms claims that all relationships are multispecies relationships.

Punktem wyjścia dla rozważań jest stwierdzenie Timothego Mortona, że kryzys ekologiczny jest kryzysem myślenia w ogóle. Posthumanizm nie tylko zrywa z centralną pozycją człowieka, lecz oferuje przede wszystkim nowy sposób myślenia o świecie i przenikających go relacjach. Badania Donny Haraway oraz Anny Tsing analizowane są pod kątem ich przydatności dla tworzenia nie-antropocentrycznych sposobów myślenia i metafor. U Haraway życie i myślenie wraz z psami prowadzi do stworzenia posthumanistycznej etyki. Tsing, badając wielorakie powiązania tworzone przez grzyby twierdzi, że wszelkie relacje są relacjami międzygatunkowymi.
