W artykule omówiono aksjologiczny potencjał prozy Iwana Szamiakina powstałej w ostatnim okresie jego twórczości, kiedy pisarz zdołał wspiąć się na nowy poziom rozumienia i odzwierciedlania życia człowieka. Takie utwory, jak „Krivinka”, „Slavsia, Maryja!” czy „Wialikaja kniaginia” świadczą nie tylko o artystycznej ewolucji Szamiakina-pisarza, lecz także o duchowej przemianie Szamiakina-człowieka.

The article considers the axiological potential of Ivan Shamyakin’s prose written in the last period of his work, when the author managed to reach a new level of understanding and reflection of human entity. Such tales as “Krivinka”, “Slavsya, Mariya!” and the novel “Velikaya knyaginya” show both artistic evolution of Shamyakin-writer and spiritual evolution of Shamyakin-human.
