The article contains the empirical testing results of the effectiveness of the developed methodology of national self-assertion upbringing of students in extracurricular activity against a background of the Russian armed aggression. Senior teens and high school students participated in the experiment at various stages. We have received positive dynamics in national self-assertion upbringing in an extracurricular activity of students. The introduced results prove the pedagogical expediency and effectiveness of the proposed methodology. On the other hand, developed and implemented methodology as a set of content, methods, and forms that contribute to students’ national self-assertion upbringing is effective in the pedagogical conditions.

In the article the analysis of educational activities in publicinstitutions of orphans and children deprived of parental care is conducted. The article deals with the tendencies of development of the network of social institutes of the support and education of orphans and children deprived of parental care in Ukraine from the 90’s of the XX till thebeginning of theХХІcentury. The author has set the aim, the major professional activities of social educator public care institutions, justified the basic theory on the socio-educational work with children who grow up without a family. The conceptual foundations of children’s social education in boarding schools are defined. It is grounded the creation of family-type children’s homes as an alternative form of state child support. The attention is focused on the tendencies of the network expansion of social institutions and the increase of the contingent of pupils in them during the above mentioned period. In the article the peculiarities of the boarding school as an environment which replaces a family and its influence on pupil’s preparation to the future family life caused by modern social-economic, political, social-cultural situation in Ukraine, are considered. The author gives a characteristic of the main types of residential education institutions (orphanages, boarding schools, etc.), the content, typical features of the educational process. The research reveals the essence and the contents of social education, conducts analysis of the problem and approaches to the social education of the native pedagogical theory of the time. The research also reveals organizational and educational problems of the boarding-school system formation and its continual development. Distinctive features of social upbringing conception of the investigated period have been analyzed in practical realization: in particular, such issues as forms, methods and tendencies of social education development in boarding schools have been considered in the content.

The problem of preservation and purposeful formation of children and young people’s health is exceptionally important and relevant in difficult modern conditions of development of Ukraine. In recent years there has been a significant deterioration in the health of schoolchildren in Ukraine. That is why, the issue of future teachers’ preparation to ensure valeological support requires special value. Thereby, it is necessary to search for new ways and methods which would help teachers to make such lessons in mathematics, whose main goal would be the preservation and strengthening of children’s health, formation of positive motivation for a healthy lifestyle. The article consideres the peculiarities of training future teachers of mathematics to ensure valeological support of studuing by project activities. The purpose of the article is to highlight the relevance of training future teachers of mathematics to ensure valeological support of studuing using project activities. The author reveals the main aspects of successful implementation of project technologies in the process of training future teachers of mathematics. The training of the future teachers of mathematics to the organization of project activities both during classroom work, in particular in studying the discipline “Methods of teaching mathematics”, and during extracurricular activities within the circle “Elements of valeology in the school course of mathematics” are examined. The article gives specific examples of project activities in providing valeological support. The author claims that as a result of this work, future teachers of mathematics must learn to coordinate project activities at the lessons of mathematics, to organize group and individual activity of students, to create and put into practice their own teaching plans at mathematics lessons. The results of the research obtained on the basis of literature analysis on this issue and regulations, pedagogical observation on the learning process of future teachers, confirm the relevance of training future teachers of mathematics to ensure valeological support of students learning mathematics. Practical importance of the research lies down in the development of methodological recommendations concerning training future teachers of mathematics to the solution of problems of preservation and strengthening of pupils’ physical and mental health at the lessons of mathematics and their practical application in the educational process. The article points out that the problem of training of the future teachers of mathematics to ensure valeological support of studying by involving them in project activities currently is found out insufficiently.

Главной целью внеурочной деятельности по химии должно быть формирование познавательного интереса школьников к учебному предмету химии. Основное назначение внеурочной работы – подготовка и защита индивидуального проекта школьников по химии. Индивидуальный проект способствует реализации ведущей идеи «от познания к творчеству».

The article is devoted to the issue of innovative approach in the modern system of extracurricular activities for schoolchildren at the example of teaching chemistry. As far as chemistry is concerned, the primary objective of extracurricular activity must be forming of cognitive interest in learning chemistry itself. The basic aim of extracurricular work is preparing students for making and passing individual projects on chemistry. An individual project accompanies the leading teaching idea: ‘from cognition to work’.
