Ladislav Klíma was the controversial Czech author and thinker at the turn of the twentieth century. The study deals with a coexistence Klíma’s fiction texts and his philosophical works. In three fictions of Ladislav Klima are analyzed philosophical concepts, these concepts are compared with parallels from his philosophical works and interpretations by other authors. In this paper is used Klíma’s his first fantasy tale “Osud” (1893), further story “Sus triumfans” (1906–1908), and fantasy novel Slavná Nemesis (1906–1908, finished 1926). The main aim of this contribution is to demonstrate that the content of works of fiction corresponds to the key philosophical concepts Ladislav Klima.

Odkaz J. A. Komenského je nepřehlédnutelný nejen v oblasti vzdělávání, ale také v mnoha dalších oblastech lidské činnosti a poznání. Jeho dílem byla a stále je inspirována a motivována také Katedra mediálních studií Univerzity J. A. Komenského Praha, která odkaz toho myslitele, filosofa, teologa, „učitele národů“ rozvíjí ve svých studijních programech. Nabízí tak „nápravu věcí lidských“ v současném mediálním „labyrintu“ jako východisko k formaci dnešního člověka k lepším zítřkům a k nalezení sebe sama v „ráji srdce“.

The legacy of J. A. Comenius can be overlooked not only in the field of education, but also in many other areas of human activity and knowledge. His work was and still is th inspiration and motivation for the Department of Media Studies of the J. A. Comenius University in Prague, which develops the legacy of the thinker, philosopher, theologian, „teacher of nations“ in its study programs. It thus offers a „correction of human affairs“ in the current media „labyrinth“ as a starting point for the formation of today‘s man for a better tomorrow and for finding oneself in the „paradise of the heart“.

The article looks at the foundations of Jan Patočka’s philosophy of negative Platonism. On the one hand, it pursues the negative-Platonic question of the essence of metaphysics and, on the other, Patočka’s analysis of the ontic-ontological difference as the fundament of the whole negative-Platonic project. The author points out that the expression of Patočka’s borderline position between metaphysics and philosophy is the ambiguousness of negative Platonism, with which, however, the negative-Platonic requirement of a clear ontic-ontological difference does not correspond. He seeks a possible solution to this problem in Patočka’s study “Nadcivilizace a její vnitřní konflikt” (“Supercivilisation and its Inner Conflict“), especially in the notion of “large distinctions”. He understands this as a historical archetype of the difference from later texts devoted to negative Platonism, interpreted as chorismos.

Článek se obrací k základům filosofie negativního platonismu Jana Patočky. Sleduje na jedné straně negativně-platónskou otázku po podstatě metafyziky a na straně druhé Patočkovu analýzu onticko‑ontologické diference jako fundamentu celého negativně-platónského projektu. Upozorňuje, že výrazem Patočkova hraničního postavení mezi metafyzikou a filosofií je dvojznačnost negativního platonismu, s níž ovšem nekoresponduje negativně-platónský požadavek jednoznačné onticko‑ontologické diference. Možné řešení tohoto problému hledá v Patočkově studii „Nadcivilizace a její vnitřní konflikt“, resp. v pojmu „veliké distinkce“. Té rozumí jako historickému předobrazu diference z pozdějších textů věnovaných negativnímu platonismu, interpretované jako chórismos.
