W dziedzinie filozofii jego badania dotyczą wielu kierunków i doktryn swoich czasów, istotnie wykraczając poza ramy głównych nurtów filozoficznych tego okresu. W niniejszym opracowaniu skupimy uwagę na głównych tematach rozważań filozoficznych Iwana Franki powiązanych ze światowymi trendami w filozofii i przeanalizujemy jego podejście do badania kultury i społeczeństwa w świetle antropologicznych i ewolucyjnych metod.

The article analyses the philosophical heritage of Ivan Franko as one of the most important Ukrainian thinkers of Galicia. This scientist is a significant figure in Ukrainian culture and philosophy. His scientific achievements belong to literary studies, economics, sociology, ethnography, social sciences, and others. In the field of philosophy, his research is related to many philosophical tendencies and doctrines of that time. They also relate to his interest in the whole field of philosophical knowledge. In this study, we focus on the main connections of his philosophical reflections with world trends in philosophy of that time and analyze his approach to the study of culture and society through the prism of anthropological and evolutionary approaches.

W artykule zanalizowano pojęcie „światopogląd” w rozumieniu Dmytra Czyżewskiego. Pokazano, że D. Czyżewski wiązał pojęcie „światopogląd” z terminem „charakter narodowy”. Oznacza to, że zdaniem D. Czyżewskiego poglądy na świat poszczególnych nacji różnią się między sobą. Ponadto, według Czyżewskiego, pojęcia „idea narodowa” oraz „charakter narodowy” są szczególnie przydatne w badaniach nad światopoglądem, którego wyrazem jest ukraińska filozofia.

This article considers the influence of notion of the world-view on understanding of Chizhevsky’s specifics of philosophical process in Ukraine. Herewith this world-view is tracked in connection with the notion of the “national nature”. Emphasized presence of moments hypothesis in using the notion of the “public world-view” and the “national nature” under the construction by the Chizhevsky’s continuity of philosophical process.

Der Artikel analysiert die Auswirkungen der Konzeption der "Weltanschauung" im Verständnis der Besondertheiten von Tschyzhevskij bezüglich des philosophischen Prozesses in der Ukraine. Die Konzeption der "Weltanschauung" kann in Verbindung mit der Konzeption des "Nationalcharakters" beobachtet werden. Die Präsenz der Hypostasierungsmomente wurde in der Anwendung der Begriffe «Volksweltanschauung» und "Nationalcharakter " in dem Schema des ukrainisch-philosophischen Prozesses unterstrichen.
