Investments in tangible and financial assets are made in the framework of firms financial management. These investments are inherently linked with time. Category of time has been discussed in the literature, among other religious, philosophical and economic. Furthermore, the article presents the definitions of time as well as the definitions of tangible and financial investments. It presents project cycle tangible and financial investments, as well as focuses on an problem of time and value of money.
