The aim of this paper is to analyse the financial structure of non-financial corporations in the European Union prior to the 2008 crisis and to determine whether the ex-ante differences in corporate financial structure had an impact on the severity of the 2008 financial crisis in European countries. The analysis confirms a negative relationship between the corporate debt ratio prior to the crisis and crisis-induced contractions in corporate investment and GDP. The results indicate a greater importance of the growth in corporate indebtedness in the years prior to the crisis for crisis vulnerability than solely the level of debt immediately before the crisis. The paper has several important implications for crisis prevention and mitigation policy.
The problem of mutual relations between the financial structure and entrepreneurship is discussed in the paper. The author took the view that a well-organized financial system ensures the proper functioning of the economy at the macroeconomic level. A well-organized financial system also determines the functioning of economic entities at the microeconomic level. It can liberate and support entrepreneurial activities. However, they may also be their obstacle. The financial structure of the Polish economy was referred to the financial structure of the economies of Great Britain and Denmark, ie the European Union countries, whose ecosystems of entrepreneurship were rated the best by adopting the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI). From the National Accounts ESA 2010 the closing financial balance sheet of the analyzed countries has been obtained. The analyzes were made in terms of institutional units broken down by financial assets and liabilities. The analysis shows that the financial structure is much more favorable to British and Danish entrepreneurs than Polish ones. The author therefore proposed specific actions aimed at improving the financing of innovative activity in Poland.

Strukturę finansową gospodarki polskiej odniesiono do struktury finansowej gospodarek Wielkiej Brytanii i Danii, tj. krajów Unii Europejskiej, których ekosystemy przedsiębiorczości zostały najlepiej ocenione – przyjmując kryterium Globalnego Indeksu Przedsiębiorczości (GEI).

The implementation of the tasks of the public administration, in cooperation with the third sector should consider achieving societal demands for a specific type of service. However, in the current economy, non-governmental organisations as well as for the operation of the company and implement their own mission needs financial resources. The easiest measures are collected from its own members, but are not sufficient for the implementation of statutory objectives. Another option may be public and private grants and fundraising. The aim of the article is to present the financial structures of the third sector on the basis of the reports of the Stowarzyszenie Klon/Jawor, moja-polis, and the data from the Statistical Office in Krakow. Analysis of the start data of the structure of revenues of the third sector in the years 2005, 2010 and 2012. Analysis of the income of non-governmental organisations in Poland will show their inner stratification. Many organizations belong to the poorest of the income not exceeding one thousand dollars. The data will also be of the Podkarpackie Province located in the South-Eastern part of Polish. In view of the funding for the period 2007-2013, the EU countries have created the possibility of the use of the programs and funds for non-governmental organisations. The opportunity to apply for additional resources from the European Fund was to support the activities of the organization. However, entities that acquire EU funds is a little low, which translates to the financial stability of the sector. Whether the resources available in a new perspective for the years 2015-2020 will translate into the financial viability of non-governmental organisations already show the following reports.
Opracowano modelowe ujęcie wskaźników realizacji zasad finansowania zasobów trwałych i obrotowych przedsiębiorstwa.

This article gives some quantitative results based on evaluating the market risk of the listed firms in the Viet Nam tourism industry (also including tourism, hotel and entertainment groups), especially after the financial crisis 2009-2011. First, by using quantitative and analytical methods to estimate asset and equity beta of total 22 listed companies in Viet Nam tourism industry with a proper traditional model, we found out that the beta values, in general, for many institutions are acceptable. Second, we recognised that the risk level, measured by equity and asset beta mean, decreases when using leverage (asset beta mean value of 0.403 decreasing from equity beta mean of 0.588). Third, by changing leverage in 3 scenarios, we recognised the dispersion of the risk level, measured by equity beta var of 0.892, in the entertainment industry is the highest, compared to the rest 2 industries. Finally, this paper provides some outcomes that could provide companies and the government more evidence in establishing their policies in governance.
