Odejście od tradycyjnych modeli czasu pracy i implementacja elastycznych jego form stało się cechą charakterystyczną nowoczesnych organizacji. Artykuł opisuje istotę elastycznych modeli oraz omawia przyczyny zmian w kształtowaniu i podziale czasu pracy. W opracowaniu podjęta została próba charakterystyki elastycznego czasu pracy oraz klasyfikacji jego form. Przedstawienie korzyści związanych z wprowadzeniem elastycznych form czasu pracy jest kolejną ważną składową opracowania. Realizacja celów, które możliwe są do osiągnięcia poprzez asymilację elastycznego czasu pracy w organizacji rozpatrywana jest zarówno z punktu widzenia firm, jak i ich pracowników. Artykuł przedstawia również oddziaływanie przedstawionych form na całokształt organizacji oraz sygnalizuje korzyści społeczne wynikające z nowoczesnych rozwiązań z tego obszaru.

Moving away from the traditional models of working time and implementing flexi time schemes has become a characteristic feature of modern organizations. The article describes the essence of the flexible models and discusses the reasons for changes while shaping and dividing the working time. The author tries to elaborate on flexi time and classifies its forms. Showing the advantages connected with the introduction of flexible working time is yet another important part of the article. Reaching the aims after the flexible working time has been implemented in the organization, is considered from the point of view of both the companies as well as their employees. The article also shows the impact of the described forms on the whole organization as suchand signalizes the social benefits resulting from the modern developments in this area.
