La recuperación de la memoria de la Guerra de España y el franquismo es el eje central de la obra del escritor valenciano Alfons Cervera. El llamado “ciclo de la memoria”, constituido por cinco novelas recogidas en el volumen Las voces fugitivas (2013), evoca las historias y testimonios de los vecinos del pueblo ficticio Los Yesares, principalmente durante la guerra y la inmediata posguerra. En las novelas se perciben distintas formas de abordar la memoria que hacen que haya o no transmisión del pasado reciente entre distintas generaciones. El presente artículo indaga en la representación temática y formal de la memoria intergeneracional en "El color del crepúsculo" (1995), "La noche inmóvil" (1999) y "Aquel invierno" (2005). Utilizando tanto el concepto amplio de “posmemoria” (Hirsch) como el concepto de “memoria afiliativa” (Faber), más bien centrado en el contexto español, se analiza cómo estas definiciones teóricas son representadas en las novelas a través de motivos como el recuerdo, el olvido, la violencia y el miedo. Así, combinando las dos nociones teóricas, se desarrolla un marco teórico que permite revelar la dinámica intergeneracional de la memoria. Asimismo, se demuestra cómo las tres novelas representan estas dinámicas memorísticas entre distintas generaciones.

The fictionalisation of the Spanish Civil War and Francoism in the Galician novel has experienced a significant evolution from a thematic and formal point of view. This evolution has been greatly influenced by the memory boom since the beginning of the 21st century, both in Galicia and the rest of Spain. Therefore, exploring the contemporary Galician narrative corpus requires an interdisciplinary approach to address not only the literary representations of history and memory, but also the functions acquired by those narratives in connection with the context as well as the cultural memory of the Galician people. This paper focuses on the relationship between memory and orality in some of these texts in order to analyse how oral memory emerges in the novel as a form of persistence of the past in current times. This oral memory becomes a key element in many of these narratives and faces a deliberate collective amnesia and the reluctance to remember, acting as a space for resistance that connects the past and present in the texts.

This work aims to present our database, born to study Literary Criticism through the weekly magazine Destino, as an example of database’s application in Cultural History.

Los Estudios Culturales a partir de la prensa periódica ofrecen al investigador una multitud de datos que, en ocasiones, puede generar confusión o errores, si no se clasifican y ordenan de forma rigurosa. Este trabajo pretende exponer la creación de una base de datos para el estudio de la crítica literaria en el semanario Destino, como ejemplo de utilización de esta herramienta en la Historia Cultural.
