Celem artykułu jest wprowadzenie w świat gier książkowych oraz prezentacja ich praktycznego wykorzystania w bibliotekach. Zawiera on definicje gatunku oraz analizę jego mocnych i słabszych stron. Przybliża występujące typy narracji wraz z przykładami ich użycia oraz prezentuje ich nowe, nietekstowe odmiany, takie jak interaktywny audiobook oraz interaktywny komiks. Praca ukazuje również w jaki sposób gry książkowe mogą zostać wykorzystane w praktyce bibliotecznej jako element promocji czytelnictwa oraz materiał edukacyjny w zależności od typu danej placówki. Wykazane też zostały zalety prowadzenia warsztatów pisania gier książkowych dla nauczycieli, którzy dzięki nim mogą inspirować swoich uczniów do tworzenia własnych interaktywnych tekstów. Artykuł może być źródłem nowych, ciekawych pomysłów na różne projekty zarówno dla bibliotekarzy, jak i nauczycieli.

The purpose of this article is the introduction to the world of gamebooks and presentation of their practical use in libraries. This study contains definitions of this genre and analysis of its strong and weaker points. It also explains types of narration along with examples of their use in text, as well as presents new, non-textual variations of gamebooks, such as an interactive audiobook or an interactive comic book. Furthermore it shows how this genre can be used both as an element of reading promotion and educational material, depending on the type of the given institution. The paper also presents advantages of organizing workshops for writing gamebooks for teachers, thanks to which they can inspire their own students to create their own interactive texts. The article might be a source of new, interesting ideas for various projects for both librarians and teachers.
