The article presents best practices as applied in Italy in the field of age management of workers aged 50+ in the small business sector in the context of the growing problem of an aging workforce. Particular attention was paid to the problems of intergenerational cooperation within companies—younger–older workers—as well as cooperation among newly hired workers and older, departing workers as well as opportunities and methods for the transfer of knowledge, both formal and tacit.

W artykule przedstawiono dobre praktyki z Włoch w zakresie zarządzania wiekiem pracowników w wieku 50+ w sektorze małych przedsiębiorstw, w kontekście narastającego problemu starzejących się zasobów pracy. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na problemy współpracy międzypokoleniowej w firmach: młodzi – starsi pracownicy, jak też współpracy między nowymi, przyjmowanymi do pracy, pracownikami a starszymi, odchodzącymi, możliwości i metod przekazywania wiedzy, zarówno formalnej, jak i ukrytej, przez starszych pracowników.
