The article presents the results of the research regarding the professional role structure in the perception of social workers. Research, conducted among 182 social workers, has been directed towards attaining an answer regarding the requirements for the effective operation of the work environment. This analysis can be the basis for conclusions concerning the structure of the social workers’ role in contemporary legal and organizational conditions.

W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań struktury roli zawodowej w percepcji pracowników socjalnych. Badania zostały ukierunkowane poszukiwaniem odpowiedzi na pytanie o wymogi związane z efektywnym funkcjonowaniem w środowisku pracy, a przeprowadzono je wśród 182 pracowników socjalnych. Dokonane analizy mogą być podstawą dla wniosków dotyczących struktury roli pracownika socjalnego we współczesnych warunkach prawno-organizacyjnych.
