Umiejętności uczenia się studentów pedagogiki

The paper presents the survey of learning abilities and habits, conducted among pedagogy students at the University of Łódź. The results are presented in the light of contemporary knowledge on learning, that is regarded as a compound process, composed of three elements: cognition, emotions and motivation. The author analyses the methods in which students learn and reasons of their possible educational failures. From there the reflection on contemporary didactics in high schools and the need for change is provided. The connections between problems in students’ learning and changes in contemporary world in the range of technology, economy, job market and educational system, are emphasized.

Uniwersytet w swoich założeniach to wspólnota nauczycieli i uczniów poszukujących prawdy (Wróblewski 2011). Współczesne zmiany społeczne, ekonomiczne, kulturowe wpłynęły na zmianę postrzegania roli uniwersytetu oraz jego funkcjonowanie. Wiele zmian wynika z konieczności dostosowania się polskich uczelni do przepisów istniejących w krajach UE. Kryzys uniwersytetu jest wyzwaniem dla tworzenia studiów doktoranckich. W artykule zostały przedstawione główne kierunki zmian w funkcjonowaniu uniwersytetu, podstawy organizacyjne studiów doktoranckich oraz propozycja ujęcia przedmiotu „Wybrane zagadnienia dydaktyki szkoły wyższej na studiach III stopnia”.

An underlying principle of the university assignment is to function as a community for discover a truth. Nowadays, the social, economical, and cultural changes significantly influenced the role and function of the university. Lots of changes arose as a result of the adapting necessity of Polish universities to legal regulations which function in other members of EU. Doctoral studies are the challenge in a time of the university crisis. In present manuscript the main trends of modification the university organization, as well as the background of doctoral studies organization, and a suggestion to involve a subject “The select issues for high school didactics of the third degree studies” in third degree studies, are presented.
