The historiography study is an attempt to present an actual state of memoirs, elaborations, dictionaries and periodicals connected with religious life of Poles displaced to the Soviet Union between 1939 and 1945. During the Second World War many Polish clericals and laics were displaced to the Soviet Union mostly because of deportation. Their faith and belief, directly determining the way of their lives as displaced people, became phenomena in the whole history of the Catholic Church.
