Niniejszy artykuł stara się odpowiedzieć na pytanie o granice kaznodziejskiej wyobraźni w Mszach z udziałem dzieci. Z jednej bowiem strony mamy do czynienia z sacrum w odniesieniu do zarówno miejsca (świątynia), jak i celebrowanych najważniejszych tajemnic wiary (męka, śmierć i zmartwychwstanie Jezusa), z drugiej zaś są najmłodsi uczestnicy Mszy Świętej, niewiele jeszcze rozumiejący ze sprawowanych obrzędów kultycznych. Zderzenie „dwóch światów” może niekiedy wywoływać u kaznodziejów pokusę używania nazbyt zeświecczonych metod i środków przybliżania Dobrej Nowiny najmłodszym. Granicę, która przed tym zabezpiecza, autor upatruje w postępowaniu kaznodziejów w zgodności z nauczaniem Kościoła (a więc potrzebna jest jego znajomość) oraz w mądrej jego aktualizacji w praktyce głoszenia Dobrej Nowiny dzieciom.

The present article is an attempt to answer the question of the limits of preacher’s imagination in children’s Masses. On the one hand, these Masses involve the sacred, both with regard to the venue (the church) and with regard to the major mysteries of faith that are celebrated (the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ). On the other hand, there are the youngest participants in the holy Mass, not yet understanding much of the worship rites performed. The clash of these „two worlds” may sometimes expose preachers to the temptation of using excessively secularised means and methods of introducing the Gospel to the youngest ones. What the author believes to be the limit that prevents this is preachers acting in accordance with the teachings of the Church (which presupposes their knowledge of these teachings) and in their wise actualisation in the practice of proclaiming the Good News to children.
