W artykule przedstawiono zmiany prawne, które zostały wprowadzone w polskim ustawodawstwie w związku z ratyfikacją Konwencji z Lanzarote oraz Dyrektywy Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z dnia 13 grudnia 2011 roku, w sprawie zwalczania niegodziwego traktowania w celach seksualnych i wykorzystywania seksualnego dzieci oraz pornografii dziecięcej i Dyrektywy Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z dnia 5 kwietnia 2011 roku w sprawie zapobiegania handlowi ludźmi i zwalczania tego procederu oraz ochrony ofiar. Zmiany te są istotne z punktu widzenia ochrony dziecka przed zjawiskiem komercyjnego wykorzystywania oraz zapewnienia dziecku bezpieczeństwa w związku z jego udziałem w postępowaniu karnym.

The article presents legal changes that have been introduced in the Polish legislation following the ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention) and the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2011 on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography and the Directives the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 April 2011 on preventing and combating trafficking in human beings and protecting its victims. These changes are essential in order to protect children from commercial exploitation and to protect children participating in criminal proceedings.
