Wpływ wahhabistycznego przesłania religijnego na program nauczania w Saudyjskich szkołach publicznych

W tekście omówione zostanie religijne przesłanie wahhabistyczne, rozpowszechniane przez saudyjskie instytucje publiczne, a w szczególności przez system oświaty, media narodowe i meczety. Rozważania dotyczyć będą wpływu wahhabistycznej interpretacji dogmatów koranicznych na wybrane skutki edukacji w szkołach państwowych. Omówiona zostanie marginalizacja społeczna i polityczna kobiet, oraz dyskryminacja mniejszości religijnych. Kulturowe opieranie się globalizacji i przemianom obyczajowym wspierające reprodukcję systemową, a utrwalane przez szkolnictwo krajowe, prowadzi do poważnych problemów; bezrobocia pośród absolwentów, czy stałego zapotrzebowania na specjalistów z zagranicy. Sytuacja opisana zostanie przy użyciu dyskursu prasowego z lokalnych mediów arabskich, a w szczególności z gazet codziennych „Arab News” i „Saudi Gazette”, publikacji światowych, oraz saudyjskich podręczników szkolnych. Materiały wzbogacone są o badania własne, pozyskane w wyniku dwu-letnich badań terenowych, o profilu antropologiczno-socjologicznym, w Królestwie Arabii Saudyjskiej.

The core of this paper concerns the influence of Wahhabi-based religious teaching and how it affects public institutions, the national media, mosques and in particular, the education system in Saudi Arabia. The discourse will address the impact of the Wahhabi interpretation of the Koran and its effects on education in public schools. The social and political marginalization of women and discrimination against religious minorities will also be discussed. Resistance to globalization and cultural change, has supported the reproduction of the existing social structure through the education system and has lead to serious problems of unemployment among graduates and a sustained demand for professionals from abroad. The situation is analysed using national media, especially daily papers such as "Arab News" and "Saudi Gazette", international publications and Saudi school textbooks. The materials are enriched by the author's two-year anthropological-sociological field research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
