Przedmiotem rozważań jest krytyka procesu transformacji systemowej w Polsce dotyczącej szeroko pojętego przemysłu. W wyniku błędnych działań władz Polska straciła niepowtarzalną szansę znalezienia się w czołówce krajów o gospodarce postindustrialnej. Złe decyzje likwidacyjne zamiast inwestycji w badania naukowo-techniczne oraz brak selekcji przemysłu spowodowały zaprzepaszczenie szansy Polski na znalezienie się w gronie krajów o przemyśle zintegrowanym z zapleczem naukowo-technicznym i usługami.

The subject of considerations is criticism of the process of systems transformation in Poland concerning industry in a broad sense. In result of erroneous measures taken by the authorities Poland has lost the unique opportunity to be among leaders with the post-industrial economy. Bad liquidation decisions instead of investment in scientific and technological research as well as the lack of industry selection have been a missed opportunity for Poland to be in the group of countries with industry integrated with scientific and technical facilities and services.
