W artykule poruszono problematykę informacyjnego wspomagania wyborów strategicznych, którą wyjaśnia się i opisuje w odniesieniu do różnych typów systemów informacyjnych. Artykuł prezentuje wybrany fragment badań. Ze względu na szczególną użyteczność w zakresie podejmowania decyzji strategicznych, skoncentrowano się na systemach generacji Business Intelligence z możliwością obsługi dużych zasobów danych (ang. Big Data). Kluczowym zamiarem było wyszukanie reguł wśród przedsiębiorstw, które wykorzystują wiedzę z Big Data. Jako przesłanki różnicowania wykorzystano cechy przedsiębiorstw, cechy otoczenia i różne wskaźniki wyników działania przedsiębiorstw. Do analizy danych ankietowych w wybranym obszarze zastosowano reguły asocjacyjne, co wynikało m.in. z dużej ilości dostępnych danych ankietowych Opracowanie ma charakter eksploracyjny.

The article addresses the issue of information support strategic choices, which explains and describes in relation to different types of information systems. The article presents a selected area of research. Due to the particular utility in making strategic decisions, focused on the generation of Business Intelligence systems with the ability to handle large data resources. A key aim was to discover correlations among companies that use knowledge of Big Data. For the analysis of survey data in the selected area we used association rules, which resulted, among others, the large amount of available survey data. As evidence of differentiation used business characteristics, the characteristics of the environment and the various indicators of economic performance. Study is exploratory.
