The fast advancing global information infrastructure (including information technology and computer networks such as the internet and telecommunications systems enable the development of electronic commerce at a global level. The nearly universal connectivity which the Internet offers has made it an invaluable business tool. These developments have created a new type of economy, which many call the ‘digital economy’. The aim of this paper is to offer the reader a means by which human involvement in e-banking may be evaluated and improved. At the heart of this problem lies a need to characterise human involvement, since, once the issues are clear, the specific e-banking factors can be related to them in the form of a model. In this work we therefore take as our task: 1. What do we mean by human involvement or participation, and how does this compare to the often overwhelmingly technology-based approaches to information systems developments? 2. Where might human involvement be grounded theoretically? 3. How is this theoretical grounding to be taken forward to a set of pragmatic approaches to be applied by practising managers? E-banking owes its existence to a revolution in the enabling technologies. In this paper, however, we are less concerned with the technologies in themselves, and more with how value and advantage may be leveraged from them. To understand the issues here we need to go back to their roots, which lie in the adoption and application of information technology. In the early days of IT, most approaches to its implementation and management focused on the technology (the so-called “technology-based” approach). The sections which follow therefore begin with this, before outlining the more recent human-centred methods which are of such value in e-banking. Consequently, we will first look at participation from a recent historical perspective, and use this to develop an approach to human involvement which is applicable to the domain of e-banking. Finally, we will present action guidelines for human involvement in e-banking, and describe how these may be used to evaluate and implement e-banking solutions which are true to participative needs.

Fast changes in information technology and information society generate new ideas and concept. Some of them are very important, but lifetime of others is rather short. So, the question arises: which of them are basic, which are useful and which are only temporary? Classical education in computer science and main factors of information society development is the starting point of our considerations. Typically, in classical education, we consider algorithms and their complexity, data structures, programming languages, local networks, and so on. On the other hand we have global business processes, global economy and multinational global organisations. Computer integrated activities, cooperative information systems, and virtual organisations must be described in new terms. As basic concepts we consider infons and situations. They play similar role in formalisation of information as sets and their elements in mathematics. In the future education a special attention must be paid to digital resources and their descriptions, cooperative work, business processes, Web services and document management.

The use of information technology is an essential part of law enforcement activity. Cloud technology is widely widespread in our life. Unfortunately, it should be noted that this technology is not widespread in the activities of investigators during the pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Therefore, in this article the author focuses on the possibilities of using cloud technologies in law enforcement, as well as on the distinctive features of this technology. In addition, the author has conducted a study in the context of the possibility of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Ways of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during the pre-trial investigation are studied and criminal procedural means of obtaining such information during the pre-trial investigation are identified. The problems of using cloud technology by the investigator are described in the article. The positive aspects of replacing traditional personal computers with cloud services are identified. The history of the development of cloud technologies is described. The models of cloud technologies and their importance in the activities of the investigator are analysed. The author has investigated the features of using virtual computers in Amazon Web Services during the pre-trial investigation. The possibility of using software product such as Microsoft Office 365 by the investigator is described.
The idea of this paper is to review and summarize the complex interplay between information technology (IT) and organization in stages that impacted radically both the organizational structure and the evolution of effectiveness and economic performance. We could identify five major stages where the underlying technology, the typical organizational structure, and the criteria of performance or business success changed, increasing the complexity of evaluation models proposed. It seemed that the effectiveness impacts of IT escalated from the individual to the team level, from the organizational to the virtual ecosystem level, and from the corporate to the national or global level. Therefore, the IT productivity paradox could not be refuted until 2003.

While the general importance of information technology in management is a commonly known issue, its influence on organizational creativity and corporate entrepreneurship has drawn much less attention of researchers up to now. The author of the paper seeks to fill this gap by pointing out to some concepts already described in the literature. The main objective of this study is to characterize the managerial aspects of creative entrepreneurial organization, where the costs of processing, storing and communicating information are close to zero. Advances in information technology are conducive to new types of interaction between actors of economic activity. Describing an emergent theoretical framework for the concept of "creative corporate entrepreneurship" constitutes the author's core contribution besides adding the fresh insight into the openness of creativity and entrepreneurship. This paper presents three phases of the creative entrepreneurial organization, namely, creative novelty which means generation of new ideas, creative usefulness which refers to the selection of ideas in terms of their usefulness to launch new bold ventures, and exploiting opportunities. The third aspect should be considered in the context of eliminating the constraints of information delivery, which may be one of the most important sources of managerial transformations. These transformations lead to new methods of managing creative entrepreneurial organization.
Although considerable research has focused on creativity in organizations, far less research has examined how to design computer systems supporting organizational creativity. Theories and models of creativity are characterized by large diversity. Systematic review presented in this article takes into account only those which relate directly to the organizational creativity and have their roots in the creative activity of the company's employees. Characterized principles for the design of organizational creativity support systems are a good starting point to build measurement tool to assess functionality of information technology used in the organization supporting organizational creativity. The details of these principles extend and deepen our understanding of information technology role in enhancing companies' creativity.
