The article is a presentation of Aleksander Żychliński’s views on moral virtues and their role in spiritual human life. Żychliński, inspired by Thomas Aquinas’ opinion, distinguishes natural moral virtues and moral virtues infused by God. The latter play their role in shaping the religious life of man and they are object of Żychliński’s ascetic considerations.
