Treścią artykułu jest analiza instrumentarium zarządzania kryzysem fiskalnym w Eurolandzie. Autor stawia tezę, że zarządzanie kryzysem fiskalno-bankowym w Eurolandzie wymaga innowacyjności transformacyjno-wydajnościowej, a nie innowacji podtrzymującej mechanizm funkcjonowania strefy euro i całej UE. Jakby to paradoksalnie nie brzmiało, o innowacyjności w zarządzaniu procesem integracji europejskiej może świadczyć powrót do przeszłości, czytaj: przywrócenie dominacji ekonomii nad polityką integracji.

The content of the article is an analysis of instruments for managing the fiscal crisis in the Euroland. Th e author puts the thesis that managing the fiscal and banking crisis in the Eurozone requires transformation - and effi ciency - related innovativeness and not innovation supporting the mechanism of functioning of the Eurozone and the whole EU. Though it may have sounded paradoxically, innovativeness in managing the process of European integration may be witnessed by the return to the past, read restoration of the dominance of economics over the policy of integration.
