Według wielokrotnie pro¬wadzonych badań opinii publicznej rodzina wciąż jeszcze znajduje się na czele wymienianych wartości, dlatego też temat ten wciąż nie traci na aktualności i cieszy się zainteresowaniem ze strony licznych teo¬retyków i badaczy tego zagadnienia z różnych dziedzin nauki, takich jak np.: prawo, pedagogika, psychologia, socjologia, teologia i wielu innych.
