Niniejszy artykuł porusza kwestię polskiego bezpieczeństwa energetycznego w sferze gazu ziemnego. Według prognoz surowiec ten będzie zyskiwał na znaczeniu dla gospodarki. Około 30% gazu jest pozyskiwane ze złóż krajowych, zdecydowana większość importu trafia do Polski z Federacji Rosyjskiej. By zapewnić niezawodność dostaw do odbiorców przeprowadzane są obecnie liczne projekty infrastrukturalne (gazoport w Świnoujściu, interkonektory, rozbudowa magazynów).

This article addresses the issue of Polish energy security in the sphere of natural gas. According to rough estimates it will gain in importance for the economy. Approximately 30% of the gas is generated from domestic resources, the vast majority goes to the Polish imports from the Russian Federation. Nowadays are carried out of numerous infrastructure projects (LNG terminal in Swinoujscie, interconnectors, expansion of storage facilities) to ensure reliability of supply to customers.
