The aim of the paper is to identify the causes of moral outrage expressed in the comments published below the interview with parents of an adult woman with Down syndrome who are also co-founders and co-runners of a “Bardziej Kochani” [“Loved more”] Association for parents of persons with Down syndrome. A qualitative analysis of the content of posts was carried out due to the status of the author of the comment (person related to the environment of people with disabilities or not). The article analyses status of emotions in sociology and discusses the perceived roles of the interviewees, especially their assumed responsibility as role models. Main causes of moral outrage emerging from the comments are presented: the way of talking about disability and people with disabilities, issues related to integration in education. Linguistic differences resulting from the status of comments’ authors were also indicated.
Greetings and goodbyes in written internet interactions. A comparative franco-polish study of mothers discussion forums The paper studies greetings and goodbyes in the mothers discussion forums in order to find out, on the one hand, the contemporary tendencies in French and Polish, and on the other hand, the cultural variations of the interactional practices of the Internet users. In our case, we identify them in the field of politeness of the written interactions where the openings and the closing forms contribute to set up and sustain politeness, apoliteness or hyperpoliteness of the speech (Kerbrat-Orecchioni 2005 : 209). We also try to observe how the genre influences these practices.

In this article I assess the social phenomenon of the assistance provided by an online forum, which helps relatives of children with Edwards Syndrome. As an ‘invisible observer’, I followed the functioning of this community from February 2011 until the end of 2013. The analysis of approximately 1800 statements obtained from this online discussion group, revealed that forum membership is an invaluable source of emotional support, which is informative, evaluative and contributes to making friends and extending communication outside the forum. The most important factor is that those who participate in the online discussions support each other emotionally. It can be observed in many ways: it gives the parents hope for a better future and provides positive examples of successful recovery from trauma.
The aim of the article is to analyze the terms referring to Jews in statements of supporters of two football clubs from Łódź - Widzew and ŁKS. The exemplification material was obtained from online forums. A characteristic feature of Łódź supporters is that the use of the Jew’s label is two-sided. Expressionism The Jew, in the language of fans always being an expression of depreciation and insults, in the statements of internet fans of both clubs from Łódź not only got pejorative derivatives, but also numerous synonymous and metaphorical terms that are intended to ridicule the opponent.
