The main goal of the article is to refer to the fact that Islam is one of the major monotheistic religions in the world. Thanks to its expansion, more attention has to be paid to religious communities but also to the international security community. Currently, the Islamic militants are seen as a serious threat, not only in conflict areas but in the whole world. The article concentrates mostly on the West which is on the brink of moral and cultural collapse. Islam, as the fastest expanding religion, does not endanger the West. In the past there were several clashes between these two different civilizations which resulted in many victims..

Głównym celem artykułu jest odniesienie do faktu, że islam jest jedną z głównych religii monoteistycznych w świecie. Dzięki jego ekspansji, trzeba więcej uwagi poświęcić wspólnotom religijnym, ale również międzynarodowej wspólnocie bezpieczeństwa. Obecnie islamscy bojowicy są poważnym zagrożeniem, nie tylko w obszarach konfliktowych, ale na całym świecie. Artykuł koncentruje się głównie obszarowo na Zachodzie, który w opinii jest na granicy moralnego i kulturalnego upadku. Islam jako religia rozwijająca się najszybciej, nie zagraża Zachodowi. W przeszłości było kilka starć między tymi dwoma cywilizacjami, w wyniku których było wiele ofiar.
