Obszar informacji medycznej należy do jednej z najbardziej eksplorowanych sfer poszukiwań informacji dokonywanych przez obywateli w sieci Web. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie wyników pilotażowego badania dotyczącego oceny jakości informacji zdrowotnej w serwisach WWW. Badania dowiodły, że większość z badanych stron wykazała niską jakość informacji dotyczących zdrowia. Należy podkreślić, że wyniki badań są ograniczone ze względu na reprezentatywność próby.

The Internet is used as a tool for finding health information. The aim of this article is present the results of a pilot study on evaluation of the quality health information on Web sites. Studies have proven that the majority of the tested sites revealed poor quality of health information.It should be emphasized that the results are restricted due to limited representativeness of the sample.
