In this paper the attempt to design a synthetic indicator showing changes in the effectiveness of job search assistance has been made. It was pointed out that the starting point for the construction of such an index should be to identify the metrics that show the degree of achievement of the objectives adequately attributed to the job placement, job counseling and assistance in active job search and to study their dynamics. Construction of the index proceeded in two stages. In the first stage the group performance indicators for individual services within the scope of job search assistance has been constructed. They were defined as a simple geometric mean of the individual chain dynamics indexes of selected indicators. In the second stage a synthetic index has been defined as a weighted geometric mean of a group performance indicators.

W opracowaniu podjęto próbę konstrukcji syntetycznego wskaźnika pokazującego zmiany zachodzące w efektywności pomocy w poszukiwaniu pracy. Wskazano, że punktem wyjścia do konstrukcji takiego wskaźnika powinna być identyfikacja mierników pokazujących adekwatnie stopień realizacji celów przypisywanych pośrednictwu pracy, poradnictwu zawodowemu i pomocy w aktywnym poszukiwaniu pracy oraz badanie ich dynamiki. Konstrukcja samego wskaźnika przebiegała dwuetapowo. W pierwszym etapie skonstruowano grupowe wskaźniki efektywności dla poszczególnych usług wchodzących w zakres pomocy w poszukiwaniu pracy. Określono je jako średnie geometryczne proste z indywidualnych łańcuchowych indeksów dynamiki wybranych mierników. W drugim etapie skonstruowano wskaźnik syntetyczny jako średnią geometryczną ważoną z grupowych wskaźników efektywności.
