Repair and restoration of the priesthood ethos, to which 17th century church reformers striven, was the basis of spiritual and religious and organizational renewal in the Ruthenian Church. It was associated closely with the selection of suitable candidates for the priesthood. Expressions of the aspiration to organize episcopal, presbyterate, or diaconate ordination affairs, were already special regulations, which appeared in the manuscript archbishops’ liturgiarions. Problem of appropriate spiritual and substantive preparation for the priesthood, was the subject of prints issued since the 17th century synodal teachings of the bishop to priests, articles of liturgical books, theological treatises, catechisms, forewords to the books of the Orthodox liturgical use. Dissemination through print sources for responsible priesthood, was to serve the normalization rules for selection of candidates for the priesthood and influenced the spiritual-religious and as consequence, cultural revival in the Metropolitanate of Kiev

Zamierzeniem autora jest ukazanie praktycznej perspektywy wyborów samorządowych 2014. Wprowadzenie nowego systemu wyborczego zmieniło dotychczasowy charakter procesu wyborczego. Głosowanie zgodnie z zasadami systemu First Past The Post implikuje bowiem nowe zjawiska, która mogą zagrażać w przyszłości demokracji lokalnej. Autor artykułu szuka odpowiedzi na pytania o to, czy istnieje wpływ systemu większości względnej na przeobrażenia strukturalno-organizacyjne komitetów wyborczych i jakie główne problemy prawne pojawiły się podczas wyborów samorządowych. Zestawia nieścisłości interpretacyjne polskiego prawa wyborczego z praktyką funkcjonowania komitetów wyborczych w małych gminach. Szuka w końcu zależności pomiędzy systemem większości względnej w okręgach jednomandatowych a możliwą kartelizacją organów gminy jako skutek obowiązujących przepisów. Artykuł wzbogacony jest o liczne przykłady prawnych przeszkód dla członków komitetów wyborczych przy prowadzaniu kampanii samorządowej na poziomie lokalnym. Rezultatem przeprowadzonej analizy są wskazania odnośnie do zmian w polskim prawie wyborczym, który mogłyby zniwelować negatywne skutki obowiązujących zasady systemu wyborczego. Zgodnie z sugestią autora ich nieuwzględnienie może rzutować na zasadność i celowość stosowania tego systemu wyborczego w przyszłości.

The aim of the article is revealing the practical perspective of self-government elections in 2014. Implementing the new system of election changed the current capacity of the election process. Voting according to the principles of First Past The Post system implicates new trends, which can expose to the danger of local democracy in the future. The author is searching the answer to questions: whether there is a influence of plurality voting systems on structural and organizational transformations of election committees and which of main issues of election law appeared during selfgovernment elections. He also is collating interpretative inaccuracies of Polish election law with the practice of functioning election committees in small communes. The author is looking for the relationship between the plurality voting system in singlemember constituencies and a possible cartelization of the political scene in a commune as the effect of current regulations. The article is enriched with numerous examples of legal obstacles for members of an election committees during conducting the electoral campaign at the local level. The result of conducted analysis are guidelines (amendments) in relation to the Polish election law, which could improve the pejorative side-effects principles of the electoral system. According to the suggestion of the author of the paper their failure to consider can have repercussion with the legitimacy and the usefulness of applying this electoral system in the future.

The article raises a quite important issue, hardly present in Polish scientific literature – the relation between presidential elections and the party system. This is an attempt to show how the party indicates the presidential candidate in the elections and at the same time a tentative to answer the question: how the results of the presidential elections translates into the score of the parliamentary one. Political parties, as organizations, attach too little attention to internal democracy and to how personal decisions are made. The article presents a solution proposal based on the example of France. For the parties a lot more important is the time elapsed between the elections and what was the outcome than the candidate himself. The article is in fact a qualitative research and was limited to Polish material, but too few election held allows us only you to identify some trends or possible impacts – but does not allow a broader generalization.

The subject of the study is a detailed analysis of the candidate internship institution in workers’ cooperatives and in agricultural cooperatives. The former primarily base their activity on the personal activity of their own members, while the latter are characterized by the fact that their basic subject of functioning is running a common farm and activities for the benefit of individual farms of members. While the legislator in Article 200 of Cooperative Law regulates the rules and manner of holding a candidate internship in workers’ cooperatives, there is no analogical regulation in agricultural cooperatives. This raises important interpretative doubts in the legal doctrine and practice and the fundamental question about the admissibility of using the candidate internship in these organizations. Apart from the internship structure in cooperative organizations, the author also analyzes the legal situation of the candidates taking part in it.

Przedmiotem opracowania jest szczegółowa analiza instytucji stażu kandydackiego w spółdzielniach pracy oraz w rolniczych spółdzielniach produkcyjnych. Te pierwsze swoją działalność przede wszystkim opierają na osobistej aktywności własnych członków, zaś te drugie charakteryzują się tym, że ich podstawowym przedmiotem funkcjonowania jest prowadzenie wspólnego gospodarstwa rolnego oraz działalności na rzecz indywidualnych gospodarstw rolnych członków. O ile jednak ustawodawca w art. 200 Prawa Spółdzielczego reguluje zasady i sposób odbywania stażu kandydackiego w spółdzielniach pracy, o tyle brak jest analogicznego unormowania w rolniczych spółdzielniach produkcyjnych. Rodzi to zarówno w doktrynie prawa, judykaturze, jak i praktyce istotne wątpliwości interpretacyjne, w szczególności zaś powstaje zasadnicze pytanie o dopuszczalność wykorzystywania stażu kandydackiego w tych organizacjach. Autor poza konstrukcją stażu w organizacjach spółdzielczych, dokonuje także analizy sytuacji prawnej kandydatów biorących w nim udział.

W artykule podjęto problematykę oceny kandydatów ubiegających się o pracę, w opinii rekruterów, wraz ze wskazaniem kompetencji „miękkich”, które są szczególnie cenione oraz metod selekcji, które wykorzystywane są obecnie najczęściej w celu ich weryfikacji. Część empiryczna tekstu odwołuje się do wyników badania jakościowego zrealizowanego w oparciu o technikę wywiadu otwartego, przeprowadzonego wśród profesjonalnych rekruterów, uczestniczących w procesie selekcji pracowników do przedsiębiorstw.

The main problem of this article is a try to explore the way that recruiters consider candidates performance during recruitment process, their competences, “soft skills”, what features they find as valuable and which selection methods currently are the most popular. Empirical part of text is based on data gained from qualitative research, concretely from an interview carried out among professional recruiters who participate in candidates selection process in companies.
