Abstract: The article presents the results of architectural and archaeological research conducted in Kamień Pomorski in the area of alleged sacral complex of former Dominican monastery. Its goal was to record survived remains of St Giles’ monastery church, an attempt to recreate its original plan and shape, as well as preliminary determination of scope and chronology of successive transformations. The research results indicate that initially was built a single-nave aisless structure with a rectangular, elongated, straight closed chancel. In its north side was located monastery, probably with cloister garth surrounded by cloisters. Probably in the 15th century, in order to enlarge the church, in the south side an aisle was built. It was created back then most likely an asymmetrical two-aisled church.
