W artykule postuluje się zmianę paradygmatu myślenia o innowacyjności. U podstaw leży założenie, że dominujące obecnie technocentryczne podejście do innowacyjności wyrasta z kreatywności indywidualistycznej. Sprawia, że innowacyjny potencjał usieciowionej gospodarki i społeczeństwa informacyjnego nie jest należycie wykorzystywany, dla harmonizowania rozwoju technologii z rozwojem pozostałych sfer bytu ludzkiego. Zdaniem autorki upowszechnienie kompetencji innowacyjnych jest ograniczone opóźnieniami w dostosowaniach instytucjonalnych do wyzwań i zagrożeń globalizacji liberalizacji i technocentrycznej kultury epoki informacjonizmu. Przezwyciężeniu tych zagrożeń mogłoby służyć zintegrowane podejście do innowacyjności, które dowartościowuje podmiotową rolę jednostki w procesie innowacyjnym. W tym też kontekście ujmuje instytucje jako podsystem współzależnych kompleksów i sił napędowych lub barier zachowań innowacyjnych. Takie podejście otwiera perspektywę uczynienia z innowacyjności uniwersalnej kompetencji i wykorzystywanie jej w upowszechnianiu postępu cywilizacyjnego.

The article postulates a change in the paradigm of thinking of innovativeness. The very basic assumption relies on a currently dominating technocentric approach to innovativeness that arises from individualistic creativity. Consequently, the innovative potential of network economy and information society is not properly used for harmonising technology development along with other walks of human life. The author reckons that popularisation of innovative competences is limited to delays in institutional adjustments to challenges and threats to globalization, liberalization and technocentric culture of the era of informationism. In order to overcome such threats it is useful to adopt an integrated approach towards innovativeness which appreciates the subjective aspect of an individual within an innovative process. As a result, the author perceives institutions as the subsystem of correlated complexes and drive forces or barriers to innovative behaviours. Such an approach is posed by a perspective of making innovativeness a universal competence and its application in popularising civilisation development.

The study raises the issue of innovative competences, which are significant in the light of modern person's functioning in a changing environment. The categories of innovation, innovative competences were defined. The need of shaping the competences, both in private and professional life was shown. The role of school education in the process of shaping creative and innovative competences was determined.

Artykuł dotyczy kompetencji innowacyjnych, które są istotne w świetle funkcjonowania współczesnego człowieka w zmieniającym się środowisku. Zdefiniowano w nim pojęcia: innowacjność, innowacyjne kompetencje. Ukazano potrzebę kształtowania kompetencji innowacyjnym zarówno w życiu prywatnym, jak i zawodowym. Zaprezentowano rolę edukacji szkolnej w procesie kształtowania kompetencji twórczych i innowacyjnych.

Im Artikel wird die Frage der innovativen Kompetenzen berührt, die im Lichte des Lebens des gegenwärtigen Menschen in sich wandelnden Umgebungen relevant ist. Es wurden darin solche Begriffe wie Innovation und innovative Kompetenzen definiert sowie das Bedürfnis dargestellt, die innovativen Kompetenzen sowohl im privaten als auch beruflichen Leben zu gestalten. Es wurde auch die Rolle der Schulbildung bei der Formierung der kreativen und innovativen Kompetenzen beschrieben.
