Referat podejmuje temat szczególnego typu komunikacji werbalnej lektorów uczących języka polskiego jako obcego (jpjo) – ustnego poprawiania wypowiedzi studentów. Konfrontuje różne teorie dydaktyczne mówiące o tym, kiedy i w jaki sposób dokonywać korekty, kto jest za nią odpowiedzialny (lektor, student czy pozostali uczestnicy dyskursu) i czy należy poprawiać wszystkie usterki, powstałe w wypowiedzi uczących się, czy tylko te, które utrudniają bądź uniemożliwiają komunikację. Referat zawiera również analizę nagrań dyskursu na lekcji jpjo w Studium Języka Polskiego dla Cudzoziemców UŁ (SJPdC) ‒ na podstawie badań własnych ‒ oraz ocenę wpływu korekty ustnej lektorów na wypowiedzi studentów.

The paper focuses on the unique type of verbal communication of the teachers of Polish as a foreign language (PFL) which is the correction of student‟s oral statements. The author discusses various didactic theories which explain when and how the corrections should be made, who is responsible for them (lecturer, student or the remaining participants of the discourse) and which of the mistakes should be corrected: only those which make the communication unable or all of them. The paper also includes the analysis of discourses that were recorded during PFL lessons in School of Polish for Foreigners at the University of Lodz (based on private recordings) as well as the analysis of the influence of teacher‟s correction on student‟s speaking.

W pierwszej części artykułu autor przedstawia problemy z gramatycznym opisem języka polskiego, przyjęciem koncepcji nauczania gramatyki języka polskiego i opisem błędów popełnianych przez uczących się języka polskiego jako obcego. W drugiej części analizuje błędy (ustne) popełniane przez uczących się języka polskiego na Ukrainie. Dokonuje klasyfikacji błędów oraz stawia wnioski dotyczące wykorzystania badań nad błędami do praktycznych rozwiązań dydaktycznych.

In the first part of the article the author presents the problems related to the grammatical description of the Polish language, adoption of the concept of Polish grammar teaching and description of the mistakes made by those learning Polish as a foreign language. The second part of the article is an analysis of the oral mistakes made by the students of the Polish language in the Ukraine. The author classifies the mistakes and suggests how the research on the mistakes can be used in the foreign language education

Po zdefi niowaniu pojęć: język prawny i język prawniczy oraz ocenie przydatności tekstów prawnych i prawniczych do badań językoznawczych, w artykule skupiono się na analizie tekstów prawniczych tworzonych na przełomie wieków i starano się ustalić przyczyny ich niezrozumiałości. Zaliczono do nich: strukturę tekstu (brak wyraźnego podziału treści), homonimię składniową, wtórne związki składniowe, niepoprawne konstrukcje z imiesłowowymi równoważnikami zdań, brukselizmy i zbędne zapożyczenia, a także niepoprawną interpunkcję. Pokazano też konsekwencje semantyczne oraz skutki prawne wynikające z nieodmieniania nazwisk w tekstach prawniczych.

After defi ning the notions: legal language and language of the law, and after evaluating the usefulness of legal and law texts in linguistic research, the author of the article focuses on analysing legal texts written at the turn of the centuries and tries to determine the reasons why the texts are incomprehensible. Such reasons include: the structure of the text (the lack of clear division of the content), syntax homonymy, derivative syntactic relations, incorrect structures containing elliptical sentences, Brussels bureaucratic vocabulary and unnecessary borrowings, as well as incorrect punctuation. Also, the author shows semantic and legal consequences resulting from the fact that surnames are not declined in legal texts.
