W artykule przedstawiono biogram dr med. Tadeusza Bala, chirurga wojskowego, absolwenta uniwersytetu w Wiedniu, który w okresie I wojny światowej pracował na froncie wschodnim. W czasie II wojny światowej był lekarzem oddziału Armii Krajowej, a w czasach pokoju dyrektorem szpitala i chirurgiem w małym miasteczku w centralnej Polsce.

The article contains a factual biography of the military surgeon, who graduated from University of Vienna. During the First World War he served in the eastern front, during the Second World War he was the physician at Polish Underground Army. In the periods of peace he worked as Chef Surgeon and head of hospital in small town in the central of Poland.
