Autorki przedstawiają koncepcję wykorzystania bazy danych do badania porównawczego łacińskich zabytków językowych z glosami polskimi naprzykładzie opracowania polskiego słownictwa w XV-wiecznych przekazach Vocabularius ex quo. Nawiązując do dotychczasowych form publikacji tego materiału w edycjach i artykułach Słownika staropolskiego, pokazują metodę analizy tekstu źródłowego przyjętą w projekcie „Słownictwo polskie w XV-wiecznych rozariuszach łacińskich. Studium porównawcze”. Informacje zgromadzone w bazie danych posłużą do ustalenia relacji pomiędzy poszczególnymi przekazami i usystematyzowania oraz opisu poświadczonego w nich materiału językowego.

The authors present the concept of using the database in comparative research of Latin documents with Polish glosses. Research is conducted on the basis of the Polish vocabulary from the 15th century copies of the "Vocabularius ex quo". Referring to the previous forms of publication of Polish glosses such as various editions and the entries of the "Old Polish Dictionary", the authors show a new method of the source texts analysis. The XYZ project is based on this approach. The information gathered in the database will enable researchers to determine relations between particular copies. Additionally, it allows to systematize and describe the recorded linguistic material.
The aim of this paper is to present the project called Elektroniczny Tezaurus Rozproszonego Słownictwa Staropolskiego (ETRSS - Digital Thesaurus of Scattered Old Polish Lexis). The planned database will gather digital editions of linguistic sources preserved to our times, from the oldest until 1500, which contain Polish vocabulary. The authors present the assumptions of the project, describe the characteristics of scattered Old Polish lexis, outline history of its research, as well as formulate basic principles of the database structure and functionality. They provide examples showing the diversity of the material and some issues related to its presentation and interpretation. The paper also describes the prospects for the development of the project and cooperation with researchers pursuing related projects.
