This article focuses on the description of phraseological innovation we’ll cut it out. The analysisof this lexical structure starts with quotations, which represent its functioning in the literal meaning in contemporary texts, associated with a space of media sociolects in the first place. The next part of this paper presents different statements (mostly written by Internet’s users), which can be treated both as a confirmation of a specific intralingual borrowing mechanism (from one Polish language style into other) and as a proof of widening of the original meaning of this lexical structure with metaphorical meanings – however the basic semantic property ‘something, what should be cut or deleted’ stays the same. Other examples of using this idiom – like as a title of cultural events or shops’ names – can be treated as an evidence of its common knowledge and humouristic nature.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest opis innowacji frazeologicznej to się wytnie. Analizę tej konstrukcji wyrazowej rozpoczęto od przytoczenia cytatów, które reprezentują jej dosłowne funkcjonowanie w tekstach współczesnych, związanych głównie ze sferą profesjolektów medialnych. W dalszej części szkicu przedstawiono różne wypowiedzi (przede wszystkim internautów) będące poświadczeniem działania mechanizmu zapożyczania wewnętrznego, a także dowodem na rozszerzanie zakresu pierwotnego użycia frazy o znaczenia metaforyczne przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu podstawowego semu ‘coś, co trzeba usunąć, wyciąć’. Potwierdzeniem powszechnej znajomości i dowcipnego charakteru frazeologizmu są również inne sposoby jego aktualizacji, zawarte np. w tytułach wydarzeń kulturalnych lub nazwach sklepów.
