The text deals with the family problems and its support for their solutions based on articles published in andragogical magazines of the late fifties and early sixties of the twentieth century. These issues are extremely interesting, since they relate to the family life culture, marriage preparation and family life education. Preparing for marriage is of great importance for the future of its operation. Its absence has an effect on family problems and marital conflicts later in life. Parenting universities provided support for families in solving their problems, primarily in dealing with behavioral problems, but also provided knowledge from other areas of life.

Tekst dotyczy problemów rodziny i jej wsparcia w zakresie ich rozwiązywania w oparciu o artykuły pojawiające się w czasopismach andragogicznych przełomu lat pięćdziesiątych i sześćdziesiątych XX wieku. Zagadnienia te są niezwykle interesujące, gdyż odnoszą się do kultury życia rodzinnego, przygotowania do małżeństwa i wychowania do życia w rodzinie. To przygotowanie do małżeństwa ma ogromne znaczenie dla dalszego jego funkcjonowania, natomiast jego brak w późniejszym okresie życia wpływa na problemy rodziny i konflikty małżeńskie. Wsparciem rodzinom służyły uniwersytety dla rodziców, które pomagały im przede wszystkim w radzeniu sobie z problemami wychowawczymi, ale także dostarczały wiedzy z innych dziedzin życia.

Rev. Prof. Jerzy Józef Kope CP showed immense interest in researching how the Council reform of liturgy was received by youth. Having developed his own research questionnaires, he launched a research project which allowed him to explore a variety of issues relating to the liturgical formation of youth. Making use of the method of liturgical paradigm, Rev. Prof. Kopeć ventured a vast analysis of the outcomes of the Council liturgical reform. The research primarily concerned education for active participation in the Holy Mass, for the accepting of the Sacrament of Confirmation and Matrimony. Research results helped create a network of ideas and problems relating to youth liturgical formation, leading to pastoral and liturgical conclusions that can find their practical application in parishes and dioceses of the whole country.

Pośród zainteresowań naukowych ks. prof. Jerzego Józefa Kopcia CP szczególne miejsce zajęły badania dotyczące recepcji przez młodzież posoborowej odnowy liturgii. Na podstawie opracowanych przez siebie kwestionariuszy stworzył projekt badawczy, który za pomocą wystandaryzowanych narzędzi pozwalał na eksplorację zagadnień związanych z formacją liturgiczną. Odwołując się do metody paradygmatu liturgicznego, ks. Kopeć dokonał szerokiej analizy owoców posoborowej reformy. Podejmowane badania dotyczyły przede wszystkim formacji do czynnego udziału we Mszy Świętej, a także formacji do przyjęcia sakramentu bierzmowania oraz przygotowania do sakramentalnego małżeństwa. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły nie tylko na stworzenie swoistej mapy zagadnień dotyczących prowadzenia formacji liturgicznej w młodym pokoleniu, lecz także sformułowania wniosków pastoralno-liturgicznych możliwych do realizowania na poziomie parafii, diecezji czy całego kraju.

Znamiona współczesnego kryzysu instytucji małżeństwa w Europie i w Polsce to ogromny wzrost liczby nieważnie zawartych małżeństw sakramentalnych oraz rozpad więzi małżeńskich i rodzinnych. Zadanie pogłębionej refleksji nad sytuacją społeczno-kulturową i praktyką przygotowania do sakramentalnego małżeństwa oraz odwaga postawienia diagnozy co do kondycji tego obszaru duszpasterstwa stają się dziś konieczne. Trwałość małżeństwa i rodziny jest ściśle powiązana z takimi zjawiskami społecznymi, jak: kształtowanie się nowych modeli kulturowych, swoboda obyczajowa, mediatyzacja kultury, „prywatyzacja” wiary i marginalizacja kościelności. Socjokulturowe przeobrażenia wskazują na potrzebę poszukiwania pozytywnej odpowiedzi i wyprowadzenia wniosków o charakterze postulatów dla duszpasterskiej praktyki w obszarze przygotowania do małżeństwa. Dotyczą one różnych obszarów: psychologii, komunikacji interpersonalnej, chrześcijańskiej formacji, jednolitości wymagań i zasad.

The signs of contemporary crisis of marriage in Europe and in Poland are visible in the increasing number of invalid marriages and the dissolution of both marriage and family bonds. The deep reflection upon sociocultural situation, the practice of the sacrament of marriage preparation and making a diagnosis of this field of priesthood are crucial. The durability of marriage and family is strictly connected with such social phenomena as: the development of new cultural models, the ease of customs, media impact on culture, restricting faith to private sphere and marginalization of the significance of the Church. Sociocultural changes lead to the need of formulating a positive answer and implementing conclusions in the practice of preparation for the sacrament of marriage. Such postulates emerge from different fields: psychology, interpersonal communication, Christian formation, homogeneity of requirements and rules.

Zu den Symptomen der gegenwärtigen Krise der Eheinstitution in Europe und in Polen gehört die rapide steigende Zahl sowohl der ungültig geschlossenen Ehen, als auch der zerfallenen Ehen und Familien. Eine vertiefte Reflexion über die sozio-kulturelle Situation und die Praxis der Vorbereitung auf die Schließung der sakramentalen Ehe, sowie die Formulierung einer mutigen Diagnose über den Zustand dieses Bereiches der Seelsorge, scheinen heute unumgänglich. Die Krise der Ehe und Familie ist eng mit solchen sozialen Prozessen verbunden, wie: Entstehung neuer Kulturphänomene, Sittenfreiheit, Mediatisierung der Kultur, "Privatisierung" des Glaubens sowie Marginalisierung der Kirchenzugehörigkeit und -präsenz. Die soziokulturellen Veränderungen verweisen auf die Notwendigkeit der Suche nach einer positiven Antwort sowie der Formulierung von Schlussfolgerungen in Gestalt von Postulaten für die seelsorgliche Praxis im Bereich der Ehevorbereitung. Sie beziehen sich auf verschiedene Gebiete: Psychologie, interpersonale Kommunikation, christlicher Bildung und Vereinheitlichung der Bedingungen und Kriterien der vorehelichen Katechese.
