The article deals with the peculiarities of organizing the educational process while studying the discipline «The innovative pedagogical technologies at a higher educational institution». The author’s methodic of the future primary school teacher’s preparation by means of innovative technologies in teaching the course is represented. The basic principles of the suggested methodic are given. The theoretical and practical skills which must be formed are pointed to; the technological map of the disciplines where different standards of assessing the results expected are described. The components of the working syllabus of the course are characterized in details. It is determined that the leading principle of methodological quality future primary school teachers’ training is a combination of basic and variable components in the content of training. The variable component involves empowering the student in choosing the ways of professional and personal development, individual creativity, an individual style of activity, behavior and spheres of professional activity, the possible introduction of variable rates. The curriculum subject «Innovative educational technology in higher education» and its main structural elements are characterized. The structure organizational methods of discipline and a step by step plan for working on its implementation are proposed. The identifiable components that were used in developing the content of educational and methodical complex for the course «Innovative educational technology in higher education» are presented. The legal, procedural, creative and effective components are described in details. The principles used by the author in the selection of course content are discussed. The book «Innovations in higher teacher education: Theory and Practice», which is a part of teaching materials for curriculum primary education students is analyzed. It is noted that the book is focused on the study of theoretical issues related to the characteristics of innovative learning technologies, considering their teaching of properties, organizing and conducting classes on the basis of innovative learning technologies. Theoretical knowledge and practical skills that students should acquire as a result of that discipline are discussed. The interdisciplinary field of knowledge is formed on the base of so called allied sciences aimed at forming the integral knowledge on the base of the common conceptual apparatus. The author notes that the effectiveness of implementation the course depends on the degree of scientific learning management, development of classification and establishment of the specific pedagogical conditions.
