This article is partially based on research work done for the preparing of a doctoral thesis entitled:” The everyday life of homeless persons. A sociological study. ‘ The aforesaid thesis includes a diagnosis of the medical condition of homeless persons on the example of respondents in Olsztyn. It shows the effects of homelessness on the general state of health and presents measures undertaken to give medical support to afflicted persons.
